How to get to Novalja
- By Plane / Airport Transfers
Flying is the most comfortable and quick way to get to Sonus. But don't forget: If you decide to arrive by plane, you will need an airport transfer to get to Novalja. We are offering private and shared airport transfers from and to Novalja.
Scheduled (Group) Airport Transfers to Novalja
Please find the SONUS staff member and the official transfer vehicle (bus or passenger van) with SONUS sign outside of the airport arrivals terminal. Transfer vehicles will be parked at the airport parking lot for the buses & transfers (please find more detailed instructions, precise locations and maps below). All transfers will head to the parking lot near the main Novalja Bus Terminal. This will be the main pick-up and drop-off point for the scheduled group airport transfers.
PICK-UP POINT AT SPLIT AIRPORT:
*When landing at Split Airport, please note you have to pass through a pedestrian tunnel to reach a parking lot for the buses & transfers.
**Depending on the number of passengers on the scheduled group transfer you have booked from Split Airport, some transfers might have additional stop at Zadar Airport. Thank you for the patience while the additional passengers board.

SCHEDULED (GROUP) AIRPORT TRANSFERS FROM NOVALJA
All airport transfers depart from the parking lot near Novalja main Bus Terminal (please see the precise location and map above!) promptly at the specified times. Aim to arrive at least 30 minutes before your transfer is scheduled to depart and allow sufficient time to travel from your accommodation to your transfer pick up point.
Please be aware that scheduled (group) airport transfers are not door to door service and do not have drop-offs / pick-ups at the accommodation facilities. All scheduled (group) airport transfers operate to/from the point listed above: parking lot near main Novalja Bus Terminal.
The transfer duration depends on traffic conditions, therefore the time it takes is subject to change. SONUS Croatia will not be held responsible for missed flights, trains, buses or any other means of transport. Please be aware that our transfers depart on time, so make sure to be on the departure point 30 minutes prior scheduled departure time.
Passengers are not permitted to travel under the influence of alcohol or any other substances and these shall not be consumed on the transfers.
Please be aware that all passengers are responsible for their own luggage and / or other personal belongings. Airport transfers provider takes no responsibility for forgotten, misplaced or lost items.

- Festival Shuttle
We kindly ask that you avoid using your car for travel between Novalja and Zrće beach where Sonus takes place. The island’s traffic system, featuring a narrow one-lane road, can become quite congested during peak times. As a pleasant alternative, we recommend our Sonus Festival Shuttle, which also allows you to get to the festival stress-free.
Festival Shuttle bus service operates from August 16th until August 23rd, 2025. Use our special Festival Shuttle bus pass for the public transport to take unlimited rides between Novalja, Gajac and the festival location at Zrće Beach within 5 or 7 days (depending on purchased Festival Shuttle pass). - 5 days Festival Shuttle: valid from 17.08.2025 at noon (12PM) to 22.08.2025 at noon (12PM) - 7 days Festival Shuttle: valid from 16.08.2025 at noon (12PM) to 23.08.2025 at noon (12PM)
Please be aware that Festival Shuttle e-ticket must be exchanged for Festival Shuttle bus pass at SONUS Croatia wristband exchange point at Zrće Beach. Bus drivers will not be able to accept unexchanged e-tickets for any rides.

Practical
- Currency & Cash
Croatian currency is Euro (EUR).
There are numerous ATMs located in Novalja, at the beach and also in each club at Zrće Beach. All major credit cards should be accepted in all SONUS venues, however we advise you to request the bar staff’s approval before ordering. If you decide to pay in cash at the clubs, make sure you receive a receipt.
We recommend to store an emergency amount of funds in your accommodation in case you lose your money during the festival.
- Uber
The SONUSNOA code allows users a 30% discount (up to a maximum amount of €6 per ride) on 3 rides.
Important information:
- The code is valid only during the specified period.
- The discount is valid only for rides that have a starting or destination location that includes the Noa Beach Club location.
Instructions for activating the code:
- In the menu below, select 'Account'.
- Click on 'Wallet'.
- Scroll down to the 'Promotions' section.
- Click on 'Add promo code' and enter the code.
- The code is valid only during the specified period.
- Safety Information
In case of lost valuables make sure to report it to the local police. A local police station is placed at the parking lot at Zrće beach. This might also be required from your insurance company. Please remember to block your cards. For any further enquiries during Sonus Festival, please come and visit us at our info points at Zrće beach.
Please be careful with your belongings at all times. Don’t put mobile phones in back pockets.
